Principal Connections has been retained by one of Ireland’s most significant charitable bodies in its search to appoint for the unique, newly created position of Director of Innovation & Development.
The post of Director of Innovation & Development will be offered on a full-time, 12 month fixed term contract.
THE POSITION
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Director of Innovation & Development will be a key member of the Senior Management Team and will lead the development and sustainability of the organisation’s services to societies must vulnerable.
The post-holder will be responsible for leading the innovation and development team which consists of – best practice, policy, research and more. They will also facilitate change management processes and work closely with the CEO to develop influence to maximise impact and funding streams.
THE REQUIREMENTS
Suitably qualified candidates will have over ten years’ experience working at a senior, strategic level, preferably in a social-services or another relevant setting.
The successful candidate will possess leadership experience in business development and a track record of successfully driving and implementing initiatives in collaboration with others. They will also demonstrate significant experience in strategic planning, project management and performance analysis, and hold a proven ability to make challenging decisions, which support strategic aims and long-term vision. A full driving licence and access to the use of a suitably insured car is essential.
