Principal Connections – executive search has been retained by a highly successful Manufacturing and Distribution Group, headquartered in the West of Ireland, in its search to appoint for the crucial post of Head of Strategic Development Projects.
THE POSITION
Reporting to the Chief Executive, this newly created post will be responsible for managing significant strategic development projects including acquisitions, joint ventures among others to drive profitable growth for the organisation. Central to this position will be the development and implementation of strategies to continuously improve business wide processes and systems during periods of growth and change.
REQUIREMENTS
Suitably qualified and interested candidates will have qualifications in a relevant field such as engineering, materials science, or project management and/or relevant experience in the field. The ability to lead projects from inception to completion will be important as will a proven track record of market development, financial management and strategic planning. In addition, experience of managing transformation and strategic programs or projects will be necessary to be successful in this unique role.
Core competencies will include, but not be limited to exceptional – leadership, strategic vision, communication, planning, organisation, and financial nous together with high levels of commercial acumen, decision making and results orientation.
