Principal Connections - executive search has been retained to recruit for the key post of Site General Manager on behalf of our client a prominent International Food Manufacturing organisation with offices in Northern Ireland.
THE POSITION
The Site General Manager will be a key member of the Senior Management Team and will lead the site on operational efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness and safety standards from product intake to processing and dispatch of finished products. The Site General Manager is both a strategic and operational role, leading and developing the site management team to deliver the site business plan and budgets. The holder of this unique post will lead and manage relationships with Sales, Technical, Quality, Engineering, Human Resources, Finance and Information Technology to contribute to the highest standards of excellence across all aspects of the site. The role will also involve close liaison with the other associated production sites within the wider Group.
REQUIREMENTS
Third-level qualified, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of operating in a similar position at a sufficiently senior level. They will ideally have experience in the Food Manufacturing sector. Alternatively, individuals coming from another manufacturing discipline may have the skillset we require.
Candidates will be commercially astute and possess the presence and gravitas to reflect the values of the organisation, demonstrate team leadership ability and strategic vision as well as the capacity to intuitively engage and influence at all levels.
