nections - executive search has been retained by a significant Section 38 Funded Services Provider in its search to appoint for the unique Senior Management post of Human Resources Director.
THE POSITION
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the HR Director will be responsible for leading and managing the HR team both on a strategic and ongoing day to day operational basis. Based in Dublin with a national remit, you will be a business facing HR leader, providing proactive support, advice and solutions. You will be responsible for driving the identification of people management priorities and the development of HRM plans and initiatives to support the Service strategy. The HR Director will give leadership direction to the ongoing strategic development and transformation of HR services to support service provision.
As HR Director you will ensure the efficient and effective management of all HR operations and services, to deliver the targets set out in the organisation's strategic plan. Part of the Senior Management Team, the post holder will lead a sizeable team and play a key role in contributing to the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies, and practices.
REQUIREMENTS
Suitably qualified and interested candidates will be operating at or near HR Senior Management level in a healthcare or public sector environment. Core competencies include: leadership, strategic vision, communication & relationship building, organisation & planning and transformation & change. Candidates will have the ability to travel nationally as required together with an affinity with the mission, vision and values of the organisation. A masters qualification in HRM or related subjects would be an advantage.
