Principal Connections - executive search has been retained by a prominent financial services organisation in its search to appoint for the unique leadership post of Senior Manager, Corporate Banking.
THE POSITION
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Banking in Ireland and part of the EMEA team, the Senior Manager will play a key role in managing the banks client relationships, transaction origination, structuring and execution of financial solutions, and working closely with product specialists across the group. Given the significant growth plans in the division, the new Senior Manager will be responsible for a domestic and international client portfolio with coverage of several sectors and industries.
The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with colleagues in the Dublin office and other locations in the group. The successful incumbent will continually strive to meet client requirements and forge long lasting relationships with key stakeholders. They will also have the capacity to work as part of a successful team in a demanding environment, to deal with pressure and perform under tight deadlines.
REQUIREMENTS
Suitably qualified and interested candidates will hold an exemplary academic profile, preferably educated to master's degree level in a relevant discipline. The ideal candidate will be a highly results-driven individual and will have a minimum of 6 years' experience in a corporate banking / origination / relationship management focused role.
Core competencies will include: leadership, relationship orientation, commercial acumen as well as financial modelling and analytical skills. They will also be highly networked with an excellent track record of success in both domestic and international corporate banking markets. In addition candidates will hold excellent interpersonal skills and will be solution focused with a drive and hunger to succeed and overachieve.
